If the cable is locked, try running xclean_cablelock from the XMD prompt and then try your download again.

I don't think that it's an image problem - it's most likely a cable problem. Is there another software tool using the cable? Impact or chipscope?  Are you using windows or linux? Have you tried unplugging the cable?

Thanks sir for quick response.

I done image creation work on RHEL5 system with Xilinx 12.2, linux_2_6 as OS Platfort Support.

I am running that application in windows Xilinx 9.1,first I m downloading download.bit using Impact tool after that I m running zImage.initrd.elf in XMD.I also remove the cable but nothing happened.

I m taking kernel 2.6.10 .I download.bit I m taking default:ppc405_0_bootloop as Mark Initial BRAM as my zImage.initrd.elf will be in different folder of linux kernel. So .bit will not display anything on Hyperterminal.Similar work I done for ML507 and it was working.

Plz help me to correct this problem. Is I m taking wrong kernel version?or what can be this issue?
