RapidIO on Petalinux

Hi

We're trying to enable the kernel support for RapidIO on Petalinux.

We tried "petalinux-config -c kernel" but RapidIO doesn't appear in the menu options.

Do we need to hack some files?

Thanks

Re: RapidIO on Petalinux

Hi @kdahlgren

Are you using v2018.1? It seems there are few RAPIDIO flags are available in kernel config.

Thanks & Regards,

Kranthi

Re: RapidIO on Petalinux

Hi Kranthi - could you point us to where those flags are in the kernel config menus? We tried looking there but did not immediately see it.  If you could tip us off to where it is that would be great.

Thanks

Ben

Re: RapidIO on Petalinux

Hi @benjaminventura,

Sorry, I saw the support is only for baremetal & not for kernel. The flags which I checked was for different architecture

Re: RapidIO on Petalinux

Hi Kranthi

Ok, so just to be clear: There is no support in Petalinux for the Linux RapidIO subsystem?

Short term we are willing to hack some files, but we need this to support our switching and endpoint IP on your platform.

Thanks,

Kent
