SDK SSH connection refusal

Jump to solution

I started getting:

ssh 169.254.1.140
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
@ WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED! @
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY!
Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)!
It is also possible that a host key has just been changed.
The fingerprint for the RSA key sent by the remote host is
f8:7c:60:51:59:9e:8d:8b:e7:90:8b:b0:2f:b1:b4:61.
Please contact your system administrator.
Add correct host key in /home/jack/.ssh/known_hosts to get rid of this message.
Offending RSA key in /home/jack/.ssh/known_hosts:2
RSA host key for 169.254.1.140 has changed and you have requested strict checking.
Host key verification failed.

If I log in to the 702 via serial terminal and look at /var/log/messages, I see

Jan 1 00:00:31 zynq authpriv.info dropbear[873]: Child connection from 169.254.1.2:54353
Jan 1 00:00:33 zynq authpriv.notice dropbear[873]: Password auth succeeded for 'root' from 169.254.1.2:54353
Jan 1 00:00:33 zynq authpriv.info dropbear[873]: Exit (root): Unknown channel 0

So I have blown away my known_hosts and connection in the SDK and re-added a new one, but I am still getting this connection faiure. Anyone have have advice on how to clear this - is an old key being cached somewhere?

Jack

Problem resolved - I had an original version of 14.6 kicking around (the one without an sftp server), and and after replacing it with 14.6 (redux), all worked fine.
