Using Petalinux to build custom app/tool that depends on Xen libraries

Does Petalinux provide any builtin support for linking against Xen libraries?

I'm aware of `petalinux-create -t apps`, but was wondering about the best way to specify the location of the Xen libraries. The libraries I need are dynamic shared objects (*.so) that get installed under build/linux/rootfs/targetroot/usr/lib/. Makefiles for tools under the Xen source tree use special macros such as LDLIBS_libxengnttab and SHLIB_libxengnttab (defined in a rules file) to avoid hardcoding paths. Is there anything analogous when building a custom app using Petalinux?

Thanks,

Brett S.
