Valgrind on Petalinux 2016.4

Jump to solution

I'm trying to install Valgrind for Petalinux 2016.4 for the microZed board (zynq 7000).  I tried to follow this AR, but couldn't find the option in any of the menuconfigs.  Has this option been removed?

Figured it out:

Edit {project_top}/build/conf/local.conf

add "EXTRA_IMAGE_FEATURES = 'tools-profile' " (not the double qoutes)

See this for other options:

I should have worded it differently.

How do I, using Petalinux 2016.4 tools (e.g yocto), build in Valgrind to my image?

Or, does someone have instructions for how to cross-compile it separately?

This is for petalinux 2015.4, but it might help shed some light on your problem:
