create boot image for Zync Ultrascale RFSoC VU27P

Hello,

I try to create a boot image for the Zync Ultrascale RFSoC board. Does it work similar to the tutorial for the ZCU102 evaluation board (https://xilinx-wiki.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/A/pages/18842401/Yocto+2017.1+Linux+Image+creation+for+ZCU102)? What is the machine name I have to write in the local.conf file instead of

  • MACHINE = "zcu102-zynqmp"

Best Regards

Marcus

Hi @cloudious

I recommend  you to use the petalinux flow instead of OSL flow .

The MACHINE_NAME is zcu111-reva as per petalinux BSP

Please refer ug1144 guide for petalinux build steps. :https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2020_1/ug1144-petalinux-tools-reference-guide.pdf

Thanks & regards

Aravind
