dtgen system-top.dts

Jump to solution

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to add a user include to the system-top.dts generated by hsi::generate_target (dtgen.tcl). I am using yocto and the meta-xilinx-tools layer. I assume that system_top.dts is generated some where in the code in device-tree.tcl and base-hsi.tcl.

Are there hooks somewhere to add an include? I feel this would be preferable to adding a yocto task to patch system-top.dts that runs after do_configure.

Hi,

There are no built-in hooks.  This wiki shows a simple bbappend to add a user dtsi.
