how to build uboot_bsp

Jump to solution

hi,

I am trying to build uboot_bsp, and found the following description in WIKI, but I am not quite clear about how to do this,

1. how to install the uboot_bsp? I extract from the package and only found *.mld and *.tcl file.

2. how to create the u-boot bsp and compile it in SDK?

Hi @mcggoal

You have to add a new local repository in the SDK pointing to the u-boot BSP library. Once you have done you will be able to select U-Boot as BSP OS.

Hi @mcggoal

1. To which wiki page are you referring?

2. Currently the recommended way to generate U-Boot binaries is Petalinux, so take a look to http://www.wiki.xilinx.com/PetaLinux

Regards,

Ibai
