kernel module tainted while inserting module in open source Embedded Linux on XUPV2P board

Jump to solution

Hi All,

I'm porting Embedded Linux 2.6.9 on XUPV2P board. I have written character device driver for 4bit LEDs available

on my board. Problem is that when I try to insert module I see following message on my hyper terminal

    1. kernel modulke is unreliable

    2. BUS error

After inserting module if I run list module command, I find my led device in the list with message "Tinted : G"

My hyper terminal output is as given below.

**bleep** [d1006548] XIo_Out32+0x4/0xc [xilinx_led]
LR [d10067b8] XGpio_SetDataDirection+0xb0/0xe4 [xilinx_led]

Anyone if experienced such problem, then let me know the solution.
