petalinux 2019.1 Execution Speed of processes after moving from 2018.3

We recently move from petalinux 2018.3 to 2019.1.

It seems the processes run slower now under petalinux 2019.1.
processes that do not even involve the FPGA.
It seems to be related to IO write to internal eMMC and SD Card but not sure and ... mainly ...
do not want to dive deep down on the eMMC
and rule out other possibilities.

Any one witness similar processes slow down behavior on petalinux 2019.1.
Any pointer, and suggestion to consider and look at?
Thanks
Luc

Do you see noticeable differences in read/write speeds between 2018.3 and 2019.1?  An example of using the 'dd' command to perform read/write tests is given here:

Thanks @shaunpur Looking at your link.

The execution in general is slower, not only for writes, but writes are slowlyness is more obvious.

More info:
It seems like the writes that we find alot slower are toward a "RAM disk" rather than internal eMMC or SD Cards.
