recipes are not being added

Hi,

I have added one module recipe:

cp -r recipes-modules [My petalinux-project-v2019.1 path]/project-spec/meta-user

So now, this the module folder is located at:

[My petalinux-project-v2019.1 path]/project-spec/meta-user/recipes-modules/dpu

But then, when I perform

petalinux-config -c rootfs

I cannot enable the dpu because is not there!

Any idea why is happening that?

I can't even see the modules sections. Why the modules section is not there?

linux

Thanks

HI @shairva

Looks you have not created a module using this command "petalinux-create -t modules --name mymodule --enable"

Can you please follow the steps mentioned in ug1144 guide(Steps to Add Custom Modules)

1. Create a user module called mymodule in C

petalinux-create -t modules --name mymodule --enable

The new module recipe you created can be found in the <plnx-proj-root>/project-spec/
meta-user/recipes-modules/mymodule

2. Change to the newly created module directory.
 cd <plnx-proj-root>/project-spec/meta-user/recipes-modules/mymodule

3. rename your custom module with mymodule & copy  to recipes-modules folder

4. petalinux-build

Thanks & regards

Aravind
