zynq menuconfig question.

Jump to solution

Hello,

I can build the default kernel for the ZC702 dev board fine.  Doing the "make ARCH=arm xilinx-zynq_defconfig" correctly copies the xilinx-zynq_defconfig file to .config and the build works.

Now I want to change some driver support.   I assume that when I do a "make menuconfig" that the last .config file will be used as a starting point, i.e. the .config that was a copy of  xilinx-zynq_defconfig.  That appears not to be the case.  Any time I save the changes, the config file reverts to a X86 configration, not a zynq configuration.

I  may be doing something wrong..   Is there a way to use "make menuconfig" to make modifications to the zynq default configuration?  Or do I need to manually edit the file?

Thanks.
