Help: New to virtex 5 board

We are trying to implement our project on MPSOC(Multi Processor system on chip) in which we have to instantiate 4-5 processors on the fpga(virtex 5).
We wanted to know if this kind of implementation is possible on the board.
If yes,we want to start by implementing a single C program on the processor could someone help us with the full procedure(in detail) of doing the same(EDK & SDK).

I think this question would be better placed in the embedded forum. I will move this for you

Re: Help: New to virtex 5 board

I cannot answer your question, but a straightforward approach to such a project would be to first add a single processor running a single C program, then try 2 processors.

What you describe is possibly doable, but it will be your cleverness and persistence which will achieve this.  The architectural invention needs to come from you, not from the FPGA tools or the support forum.

README for newbies is here: http://forums.xilinx.com/t5/New-Users-Forum/README-first-Help-for-new-users/td-p/219369

1. Read the manual or user guide. Have you read the manual? Can you find the manual?
2. Search the forums (and search the web) for similar topics.
3. Do not post the same question on multiple forums.
4. Do not post a new topic or question on someone else's thread, start a new thread!
5. Students: Copying code is not the same as learning to design.
6 "It does not work" is not a question which can be answered. Provide useful details (with webpage, datasheet links, please).
7. You are not charged extra fees for comments in your code.
8. I am not paid for forum posts. If I write a good post, then I have been good for nothing.
