How to make PS to PL interrupt

Hi Folks,

I need control some PS commands in PL side that is why i am trying for PS to PS to PL interrupt.

currently, I trying with GPIO interrupt.

I gone through some basic steps to configure PS to PL interrupt in zynq.

already, I referred  these links,

https://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Zynq-All-Programmable-SoC/Tiggering-interrupt-from-PS-to-PL-on-zynq/td-p/647401

I referred TRM also.

I want to known, what are the set of instructions that are to be written to communicate with PL?

If some have source code for this means please share me.

Thanks and Best Regards

Vinod Sajjan

Re: How to make PS to PL interrupt

@vinodsajjan

Interrupts are one way to signal PL-PS of something but just a mechanism. There are better options.

In general you want to package your RTL code (either verilog/VHDL or generated by HLS) within an AXI-enabled interface and feed them through the HP/GP master/slave ports of the Zynq. The AXI protocols deal with interrupts, bursts, cache, etc.

Check out this video, it gives a broader picture of what can be done.

This is a nice tutorial

Hope that helps
