AXI Ethernet

Jump to solution

Hi,

we have two AC701 boards which we flash with the same firmware (Microblaze+some logic). On one of them the http server (that we run in the Microblaze) works and we can communicate with the board. With the second board however it doesn't work.

I have gone through the basic Ethernet tutorial and everything seems to be ok with the (nonworking) board itself.

Any ideas?

(We purchased and use the Tri-Mode Ethernet Access Controller licence.)

Thanks,

Christian

Hi,

sorry for the late response. I've been crushing my head on this.
With 'not working' I was referring on the ethernet connectivity.

It turns out that the Microblaze code had the MAC address of one board hard coded. That's why the ethernet didn't work on the second.

Regards,

Christian

Hi @beutelwolf

Can you please check whether the MAC address are same in both the boards, if so you need to change one. This is a known issue if you have same MAC address with in different boards only one will be working though you have different IP addresses.
