Aurora 8b10b : rx_d_i correct, but rx_src_rdy_n always 1

Jump to solution

Hi guys,

I am now connecting a virtex-6 board and a virtex-5 board with aurora 8b10b core v5.3 (duplex, streaming).

I implement a 2-lane aurora core on virtex-6, and instantiate two 1-lane aurora core on virtex-5 sharing a gtp_dual.

In hardware debug, channel up of both lanes on virtex-5 are continuously asserted, and lane 0 receives data successfully, but rx_src_rdy_n of lane 1 keeps high while rx_d_i is correct.

I look into the rx_stream.v, and find that SCP has never been received.

Why? What cause this?

Thanks.

david

1. It does not look like a regular use case connecting a 2-lane Aurora core to 2x1-lane aurora core
2. Aurora is configured for streaming. SCP is transmitted with framing interfaces. So, you cannot find SCP bytes in Rx stream.

Thanks for your reply.

You're right, I use 2 1-lane aurora core on v6 and it works successfully.
