Configure RoE Framer operation in O-RAN mode

Hello everyone,

In RoE Framer user guide, O-RAN mode and Non O-RAN mode were mentioned. But how can I configure this IP Core operation in O-RAN mode, and vice versa?

Hey @yurivn ,

When you double click the IP to open the "Customize IP" Dialog, there is a setting labelled "ORAN Support Mode". You can set it to 0 for non O-RAN mode or 5 for O-RAN mode.

Hi @nmoeller ,

 

I'm using Vivado 2018.3, so I cann't see a setting labelled "ORAN Support Mode". May be it's available in Vivado 2019.2?

Hey @yurivn,

The IP version is what matters, not the Vivado version. Check that the version of the IP matches you are using matches the version of the documentation you are looking at. In the documentation, I can see that V2.0 mentions the option but V1.0 does not. Which version have you instantiated in Vivado?

Thank you for your supporting. Roe_framer version in my computer is v1.0, so I need upgrade to v2.0 to get this option.
