How to Receive Data from KCU116 via Ethernet

Hello,

I am implementing an FPGA design on the KCU116 eval board that sends data to a laptop over ethernet. Looking through other similar posts, I was able to get a working ethernet design programmed onto the board (as far as I am aware). This project uses the pushbuttons and DIP switches to determine the data sent over Ethernet. I am also using this IP core for ethernet: https://www.xilinx.com/products/intellectual-property/do-di-gmiito1gbsxpcs.html#documentation

However, I am not sure how to connect and receive data and ensure it is what I expect. The end goal is to be able to connect via Python through a socket, but I need an IP address and port number to do that. I don't see where I can configure that or if it is already set for this particular board. Does anyone know the best way to go about this, or are there any example designs that might help my implementation?

I have attached my project in a zip file for convenience.

Thanks!

Hi @jwolford

I would suggest referring to LWIP template application projects as a reference in your use case. Details here:
