Is there an ip core to replace 'AXI EthernetLite' in 2019?

Jump to solution

Hi.

According to 'AR # 71456', it is confirmed that 'Vivado 2019.1' can not use 'AXI EthernetLite'.

If so, will there be a new free(included on vivado) ip to replace 'AXI EthernetLite'?

Or should I continue to use the 2018 version of Vivado?

HI @tifmdgo01

As the AR says: Source code for the core will be provided as is with no support and is planned to be available in Q1 2019. This means you can use the axi ethernet lite even in 2019 with provided source code.

EDIT: AXI Ethernet lite will continue to be supported in Vivado.  AR will be modified to reflect the same.

If you have 2018.3 installed, you can get this IP from the install:

Then add this IP to the IP Repo in Vivado 2019.1:

You should then be able to select this IP from the IP catalog in IP Integrator
