Questions about O-RAN Radio Interface (O-RAN Radio IF) core

Jump to solution

Hi,

We are using RFSOC GEN3 ZCU208 EVB. I want to ask that does the O-RAN Radio Interface (O-RAN Radio IF) core IP support the M-plane?  I know that it supports the C/U/S-plane, but how about M-Plane. If this IP does not support the M-plane, are there any other Xilinx IPs supported?

Thanks!

@MikeWang

At the application layer it doesn't support M-plane. The xorif driver provides that MPlane software can use to control the IP.

In terms of hardware we do support MPlane as the IP routes all, non HW interpreted, ethernet messages to the processor, so the system software can interpret these messages. it's up to the user to do what they like here.
