RoE_Framer (Radio-over-Ethernet): Simulation Issues

Hi all,

I'm trying to run the simulation of the RoE Framer v2.0.

I simply followed all the steps written on the datasheet in the Run Block Automation and Simulation sections, but it looks like that the encrypted part called roe_framer_v2_0_0_packet_gen, that packages the axis data in ethernet format, remain inactive!

While I was able to activate the axis-data-generator connected to the RoE_Framer, but only forcing TREADY='1' (that otherwise the RoE_Framer keeps it low), instead, on the RoE_Framer side, monitoring the input signals to roe_framer_v2_0_0_packet_gen, seems to me to be ok (clocks, resets, axis data, etc.) but the ethernet packet data output and the fram_ready port of the encrypted entity remain at 0.

Someone with the same trouble?

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance

Dear ferra98,

I don't know why, but the Simulation goes on only setting devboard ZCU102, otherwise the roe_framer_v2_0_0_packet_gen remain inactive!

However I tried to implement the reference design on ZCU111 and I was able to create a link between two boards; so it seemes to be "only" a simulation issue not wellknown.
