Xilinx 8000 Series Ethernet Controllers

Hi Xilinx we are using a NIC card made by a company acquired by Xilinx (solarflare)

It apparently uses a Solarflare controller part SFC9240 but I can't get any datasheet information on the SERDES that go out to the SFP connector so that I can verify that I am interfacing to it correctly.

Can you obtain this SERDES PHY level specifications for me?

Hi. Can I ask what you are trying to achieve? This chip is not sold as a separate part. Communication to the chip on the 8000-series card is via the ethernet interfaces; connected via SFP+ (1G / 10G ethernet ) and on the 8542 card QSFP (1G / 10G / 40G ethernet ) The specification for SFP+ is SFF-8431 - and we are compliant with this. e.g. http://www.sfplustransceiver.com/pdf/MSA-SFF-8431.pdf I am unable to point you at datasheets for the specific SERDES that we use inside the chip, as these are under NDA.
