clockcheck: clock jumped backward or running slower than expected!

I keep getting this error while trying to run ptp4l. I am using a custom board for a design that we implemented and tested on the zcu102 board. Vivado version 2019.2.1. I have not changed the old design except for the top design and xdc file. I generate a 200MHz clock from a fixed onboard 100MHz clock via a clock generator wizard. Most of the configurations in petalinux have remained the same except for taking out the part where i2c controls the ptp clock (I am using a fixed clock). What could the reason be?

Hi @alexkeys ,

It sounds like FSBL/Petalinux mess up something. When you say clock is not as expected, is the clock that you measured on the HW or you read from the registers?

Which exact clock do you refer and can you please be more specific on what you mean of "jumped backward or running slower"?
