optical cables and SFP configuration registers

I am trying to connect 2 zcu111 back to back using CMAC.

Can someone please let me know if the configuration registers for SFP are handled by petalinux or I need to initialize them manually?

Furthermore, are there recommended AOCs that are better to be used?

It seems you are going to use Linux?

Please note we do not have a driver that support CMAC in 100G mode yet.

my question was related to the SFP cages configuration (if thats necessary) in order to make it work with fiber optic.

What do you mean when you say there are not drivers available for 100G CMAC?

Hi @georgios.rizeakos ,

It seems to me you are asking the support in Petalinux right? As we do not provide 100G driver, you will need your own driver to support CMAC in petalinux.

Regarding configurations of SFP, I do not think kernel supports it by default so it will be a manual step.
