"microblaze incorrect configuration: unknown temac type" Error with LWIP(1G/2.5G Ethernet subsystem) and DMA

Jump to solution

We are Using the Artix 7 (xc7a50t-fgg-1) for Some Ethernet communication between DDR to Client .Actually we tried to move 8KB of bytes  (Burst Mode) from DDR to Client using LWIP IP through  DMA &1G/2.5 Ethernet subsystem  .If we try to send less than  than 64 bytes from DDR means we can receive the bytes in client without any issue .If it will be more than 64 bytes means only one time complete bytes getting moved and second time we got an error like" microblaze incorrect configuration: unknown temac type "  which is in below Tera Term results of UART

DMA IP settings
Memory Map data width for AXI_MM2S is : 32 bit
Stream Data width is                                  : 32 bit
Burst Data width is                                     : 16 bit

Please find the picture of Block diagram in attachement

According to this results how can we transfer large amount of data in 1G Ethernet with microblaze .Please anybody give us solution to overcome this blocking. It will really appricatalble one who reply for this .Thank you

Dear Nanz,

This issue has been resolved when the Frame size is equal to command size in "echo.c".Thanks fro your reply.

Hi @lokeshwarangenn ,

Regardless of this message, have you been able to debug your codes in SDK to track where the application stopped? Also, it will be good to add debug in Vivado on different interfaces to check which exact interface the data is blocked. Is the issue happening on all data over 64bytes or a certain length of frames?

Dear Nanz,

        Thanks for your reply .

Actually we can able to transfer the Frame length of 64Bytes without any issue for how many request  we have been sent from client .After that we can able to transfer only one frame for first request from client .When i send the second request  client cannot receive any bytes from Server .

When we try the TCP/IP for same hardware means we can able to transfer 1024 bytes without any issue after that connection cannot be established from Client TO Server . (We are using Hercules setup Utility for check the protocol from Client side).
