Connection between OV9715 camera and ML605 FPGA board

Jump to solution

Hi,

I am using OV9715 camera to communicate with my ML605 FPGA board.

However, when I power the FPGA board ON, I receive nothing from the camera.

It seems that the camera is powered ON when the FPGA is ON.

So I am wondering if there is any configuration should be done before the camera starts working.

However, I didn't find any relavent information from the datasheet...

Can anyone please offer some suggestions?

I am quite new to this, any hint would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

I've figured it out by myself.

We need to follow the power up procedures on the datasheet to start the camera.

The camera works with default register settings.

It's a good thing you figured this out on your own.  The datasheet is available only under NDA.
