FMC IO Expansion Card for ZC706

Jump to solution

Is XM105 Debug card is compatible with ZC706 both LPC and HPC connector? I tried to see the power lines from the schematics, seems to be similar. But in XM105 data sheet is mentioned it's comaptible with SP605 and ML605. I recevied this FMC card XM105 RevB with SP605 only.

If it's compatible it's good  else suggest a goof IO expansion header for ZC706.

Thanks & Regards,

Dipankar

If you utilize the Vivado 2017.3 "New Project Wizard" and select the ZC706 board as your target, you will see the available options for the FMC_LPC and FMC_HPC connectors.  It shows that the XM105 can be selected for both.

With that said, you can always review the pinouts for both the ZC706 and the XM105 to confirm for yourself.

I hope this helps.

Hi Miker,

Thanks. I was using an older version of Vivado. And while matching the IO's of XM105 HPC to ZC706 I found that few connections were "NC" at XM105 and those were connected to FPGA pins at HPC ZC706. I was worried about the VCC pins specially 12V as it can damage the FPGA. Hence I checked the schematics. It seems to be same.
