Using GTH on ZCU102 board

Jump to solution

Hi,

I want to send 6Gps data from 1 zcu102 to another zcu102 board. However, I am a totally new for GTH/GTX/GTY technology. So I have several questions

- Is it enough to use just 1 (or 2) GTH ? if yes, which protocol should I use?

- Can GTH transmit over 10' cable?

- Is there any design example for zcu102 for GTH so that I can run the test, and learn from it.

Very appreciate any answer.

Thanks

Andrew

Hello @andrewngo,

I will request you to refer the DS925 for different PS as well as PL transceiver performances.

There you can find the maximum line supported by each GTH/ GTX/ GTY.

Also you can run XTP430 which is IBERT example design to test the transceivers on ZCU102 board.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.

@kvasantr

Thank you for your hint, I will start with IBERT Example Design first.
