VC707 Eval board FPGA to FMC pin mapping

Jump to solution

I am using a VC707  Evaluation Kit and intend to design a FMC mezzanine card.

I found the FPGA to FMC pin mapping in the schematics, but it would be much easier to work with a table. In the docs, I found a table that maps the FMC pins to U1 FPGA Pins, but these names are different than the pin names from the FPGA docs or the schematic for the eval kit.

Where is a table mapping the pins of the FPGA to the FMC connector?

What are the U1 FPGA pins?

Thanks!

The answer to this question, if anyone else is looking, is found in relating the FPGA package pinout found on page 71 here: https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/user_guides/ug475_7Series_Pkg_Pinout.pdf to the FMC to FPGA pinout found starting on page 61 in the user manual: https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/boards_and_kits/vc707/ug885_VC707_Eval_Bd.pdf The schematic should be unnecessary.

The U1 FPGA pins are the pins, and I assume the pin names in the FPGA package pinout are the names of the pins to program, however I have not reached this step yet.
