which board is best for deep learning applications?

Jump to solution

Hi,

I am just wondering which board has the best features to support deep learning acceleration?

Is it ZCU104?

Best wishes,

Lei

At $895,  the ZCU104 is a very good bargain.   Add a 4GB SODIMM, and you should be able to run machine learning algorithms very nicely.

@jmcclusk

Thanks for the reply.

Any other suggestions? For now, the price is regardless.

The KCU1500 is extremely popular for machine learning, since it's a target for SDAccel, etc.

@jmcclusk

Thanks for the reply again.

It seems the KCU1500 is normally used in a data center. Is it suitable for edge devices?

Best wishes,

Lei

I don't see why it can't be used for edge applications too.  Inserted into a good PC, it should provide plenty of horsepower for machine learning acceleration.
