Are XC9572XL JTAG pins 5V tolerant?

Jump to solution

I'd like to daisy-chain a XC9572XL and another 5V device for JTAG programming - The Xilinx datasheet states that all IO pins are 5V tolerant, but there is no specific rating for the JTAG pins.

I assuming that, since the JTAG pins are not specifically mentioned, they are covered by the IO specs - but I'd like to be sure.

Can anyone verify if the XC9572XL JTAG pins are 5V tolerant?

Hi Simon,

All include JTAG are 5 volt tolerant.
Only note that Vccint should be at least 1.5V before 5V signals applied to I/Os.
