computer is local.
Yes, when plugged in the comport shows up as usb com 6, but that is the com port.
How do we program it? What does that show up as? With impact, you can query the board to see what's there.
Impact can't see this board. I don't know how to use Vivado or Vitis to query the board.

HI @cwrigley
You can use the same cable as for the UART.
You need to make sure that the following jumper is in JTAG position:

The jumper is in the JTAG position.
One more note: This ARTYS7 boards works on my Company supplied laptop running windows 10 Enterprise.
The ARTYS7 board doesn't work on my home computer running Windows 10 Home 64 bit. (which the software down load says is not supported)
I payed $130 for a full new install of Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, but when trying to install it, it kept up dating my Home version.
So I called Micro Soft and for only an additional $90 on top of the $130, they remoted to my my machine, flipped one bit somewhere and presto magic, my machine had windows pro, just like that. Amazing.
I haven't' tried uploading again because my Vitis project disappeared.

OK, just tried it again with the Windows Pro 64 bit and it still fails. Same error as before.
