How to disable device ID check on ISE impact 14.7 on linux (oracle VM)

Jump to solution

In windows 7 the way to disable device ID check is to set enviroment variable => XIL_IMPACT_SKIPIDCODECHECK to the value of (1),  is there a method to do this in linux? Tried to printenv but did not manage to see any corresponding env variable.

Hi, thanks for the info, it pointed me to the right direction.

The commands to set the environment variables works. I realize the enviroment variable "disappears" after i close the terminal window.

what works for me is to

1) gedit .bashrc file

2) add enviroment var + value to the last line of the .bashrc file

# .bashrc

# Source global definitions
if [ -f /etc/bashrc ]; then
. /etc/bashrc
fi

DISPLAY=:0
export DISPLAY

# User specific aliases and functions
export XIL_IMPACT_SKIPIDCODECHECK="1"
