Hi @meowppp,

I can't say I'm familiar with this tool.

However, have you tried to use the SVF file in a Xilinx tool?

What FPGA are you attempting to configure with the SVF file so we can best advice on what tool to use to program with the SVF.

Thanks,
Wendy

Hi meowppp,

I'm not familiar with UrJTAG either, but you should have a file called "MANUFACTURERS" (hopefully in the location to where the message points) and in it you'll have this string:

"00001001001 xilinx Xilinx"

Which matches the Device ID string that was scanned on the chain.

Are you using Spartan6 XC6SLX9? That's what it looks like from its BSDL file:

attribute IDCODE_REGISTER of XC6SLX9 : entity is
    "XXXX" &    -- version
    "0100000" & -- family
    "000000001" &   -- array size
    "00001001001" & -- manufacturer
    "1";        -- required by 1149.1

Thanks,
Andres
