JTAG programmer does not identify XCKU060 FPGA

Hello Everyone,

I have connected a PCB with a Kintex XCKU060 FPGA to a Xilinx JTAG programmer DLC9G using ISE Impact boundary scan but the boundary scan software did not identify the Kintex FPGA (see the attached picture).  It shows the FPGA as "unknown" device.  Can anyone help me understand why it does not work?  Did anyone have the same issue?

Hi @cosmin_iorga,

Ultrascale devices are not supported in impact. So please use Vivado.

download the vivado lab edition

https://www.xilinx.com/support/download.html

You will need to be on windows 10 or a supported linux OS

Agree with @ddn ISE Design Suite does not support UltraScale Devices.
