Make PL Input High Impedance

Hi,

 

I am using a XC7Z014S on a custom PCB. Due to some changes in the connected PCB HW, I have one input pin with 5V on a bank, where the reference voltage is 3.3V.  As the 5V input pin is no longer needed and will be removed in the next revision of the PCB, I just need a work around to bridge the time and would like to make the 5V input pin high impedance. The 5V input pin is right know connected to the PL.  

Is that possible?

 

I would be very grateful for a solution.

Doesn't matter whether you make it high impedance or not, 5V is going to do permanent damage to the FPGA. It'll pull up the whole bank voltage via the protection diode, and then it's just a question of whether the diode, something else in the bank, or the 3.3V regulator fails first.
