I met this problem when building a Vivado project using NetFPGA-1G-CML:
I have succeeded in the flow: synthesis-implementation-generate bitstream. However when I select Hardware Manager->Open Target->Auto Connect. I cannot connect to the board. It said "No Hardware target is open". The message in transcript is shown below.
1. I am using Vivado 2018.3 on Win 10. When building the project, the "Program device" option I had selected is "xc7k325tffg676-1". Should be the right one for NetFPGA-1G-CML.
2. My laptop can connect to FPGA board. I tried Zybo.
3. After connecting the board to my laptop. In "Device Manager", There is a "Diligent USB device".
4. The picture shown below is how I connect the board.
