iMPACT & Vivado Driver Issues

My system, which is Windows 7, needs to be able to use both iMPACT and Vivado 2018. However, I found that there are incompatible Windows Jungo Connectivity drivers. Vivado uses a version 11 windrv6.sys (which is jungo) and iMPACT uses a version 10. 

I currently have the version 11 driver and iMPACT will not detect the USB correctly stating to check our cable setup. 

Is there a compromise so that I can get both software to work on the same windows 7 PC?

Are you unable to find the cable and the Jungo drivers? This may be related to the issue that you are seeing since the solution also resolves issues with Windows 7 PC  AR 44397

Hi @Brian_T,

 

For Windows 7 both iMPACT and Vivado should use Jungo version 10.2.1 and not 11.

Do you see any error messages?

When you check the Jungo version are you seeing v 11 installed? If so, you should uninstall and reintall version 10.2.1.
