Checksum old method calculation for IMPACT

Hello everybody,
when I use Jtag Programmer  the CPLD XC9500 (.jed)  I obtain the checsum correctly (old method calculation) but when I use Impact Xlinx the checksum is different.
Can I set the software Impact in old method calculation?
If yes, how I can change It.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Checksum old method calculation for IMPACT

I tried this solution (see file attach) but the sw Impact Xilinx calculates the same checksum before modification.
Can someone help me?

Did you log off and on again after setting/changing the environmental variable?

Re: Checksum old method calculation for IMPACT

The AR is from late 2007, so it is quite possible that iMPACT is differently broken now!

Re: Checksum old method calculation for IMPACT

Actually, that AR is so old it's pre-impact!  They are referring to the JTAG Programmer in that AR not iMPACT.  If there is a way to do this it's hidden in the software, so your best bet may be asking support if there is some other hidden environment variable to use a different checksum calculation.
