Ethernet Module Needed

Hi all,

Can anyone send me a simple module in ISE or BSB to send/ receive a file on ethernet port.

I am using spartan 3e 500e starter kit

I planned to send a file/ data from the board to PC and viceversa.

I want to use any one of the protocol either TCP or UDP.

I am presently using xilkernel OS but may remove if needed.

I have small knowledge of lwip and socket programming.

The proper core is not available on  http://www.opencores.org

I am able to add IP cores of the ISE core generator but user interface is not easy to design so i am unable to design a Ethernet controller user interface.

There are various documents available on internet but according to my need i have found nothing for file/ data transmission.

I tried to search using google also.

No.

Even if I wanted to, I couldn't help you, because there's hardly any information in your post. Some hints:

  • What FPGA are you using?
  • What board?
  • How are you planning to interface with the Ethernet port?
  • Do you want to use TCP, UDP, or even a custom protocol?
  • Do you already have a SoC set up? Is it running an operating system?
  • What do you already know about Ethernet PHY/MAC?
  • Have you googled for your problem?
  • Have you looked at the IP cores of the ISE core generator? Have you looked at cores on http://www.opencores.org ?

Ask a specific question, and someone will help you. However, we're not here to do your job and/or read your mind.

Re: Ethernet Module Needed

Would the Ethernet lite core in EDK work for you?
