any program similar to hyperterminal

i had configured a uart on fpga spartan 3an to communicate between hyperterminal of windows with fga everything is working fine ,the bitstream i am giveing is displayed on the hyperterminal correctly in ascii format but i want that hyperterminal should display that in hexa decimal format or in decimal format , so if anyone knows how it can be done on hyperterminal than pls let me know and if it is not possible to display than pls tell me about any other program that supports such type of display

Hello

 

There is one program called XCTU, it is intended to use with serial radios but you can use it with your FPGA.

 

It allows you to see the ascii and the hex. With hyperterminal you can not see some hex that has not ascii.

i ahv used both bray as well as xctu both are working fine

one thing i wanna know more is that is there any program which can take 16 bit as input as the bray terminal or xctu can take maximum of 8 bit data .. if there is any plz let me know
