Processing packets from WiFi USB interface inside Programmable Logic

Hello all,

I am a newcomer to Vivado HLS and Xilinx embedded technologies.

I have experience with programming in C and have been assigned a project that involves procesing packets received from a TP-LINK USB WiFi adapter connected to the USB interface of a given Zedboard and PYNQ board device for network data processing and intelligent decision-making.

Are there any tutorials or workshops that provide full detail regarding the following:
- How to extract packet data from the linux kernel of the Processing System into the Programmable Logic?
- What ZYNQ/PYNQ board components need to be referenced in the HLS application for processing the packet data inside the Programmable Logic?

You might want to try out SDSOC if you are able to write the packet processing in C on the CPU side already. You should be able to export functions to the fabric have have the tools help handle the interfacing between the PS and PL.
