Do Vivado(2018.2) provide any tools like FPGA Editor in ISE?

Jump to solution

Recently, I began to use Vivado instead of ISE in my project, And in ISE, I use FPGA Editor to solve problems in Implement Design. But in Vivado I can't find any tool can provide the same function. From the Xilinx official support, it mentioned that ECO(engineering change orders) are modifications to the post implementation netlist. But it seems that this answer is for the old version, in my Vivado software (v2018.2) I can't find ECO from layout or tools menu, so is ECO replaced by some other tools or I can access this ECO from somewhere else?

Any suggestions? thank you!

ECO flow only works on design checkpoint files (.dcp). You need to open the routed dcp in Vivado and change the layout to ECO.
