ERROR: [Common 17-161] Invalid option value '' specified for 'objects'

Jump to solution

Hi,

I am building a project using AWS F1 platform( xcvu9p-flgb2104-2-i).
I got the following error while compiling a project after the route design
ERROR: (Common 17-161) Invalid option value '' specified for 'objects'
The route design got completed successfully but the tool threw a error before the tarball creation step.

Any advice on this issue?

Regards,
Prigish

Hi @prigish.

The [runtcl-1] error would indicate a Tcl file is being accessed, and the command syntax is wrong. Is the Tcl file available that is run after the lock_routing command?

Looks like incorrect constraint command is causing the error. Normally the tool will give the line number and details on the object which it is not able to find.

Did the design get routed successfully and met timing?

Thanks Syed for the response.

Yes I am also expecting the tool to give the line number which is causing the problem but as you can see in the screenshot the tool doesn't give any information about the object which is causing trouble .

Yes the design got routed successfully but as told earlier this is an AWS F1 platform based project so after routing step ,there is a tarball creation step. The tool throws error before this step.

No the design has not met timing.
