How to understand routing report of selected net ?

Jump to solution

Hi Friends,

I am facing functional issue when i add a signal(port) to ILA. and there is no issue with timing. So i want to see the routing of that net . The following info i got from vivado tcl console . am not getting exactly info reported by route_state command for selected net. Please help what to observe in this and what are those terms.

Hi @ssampath. For the specific route information on a particular net, the following command might be more useful:

get_property ROUTE [get_nets <net_name>]

This will give the routing nodes used, and can be used to compare the two versions. Also a report_timing command on the destination pin could be helpful to compare.
