Implementation Failure in ISE10.1.3 (for old project in 8.1)

Hi, I use ISE10.1.3 with same options to implement an old 8.1 project. The P&R failed with the following log. The log in 8.1 is also attached. I really need the ISE10.1.3 to work at this moment. Pls help!!!

I don't believe that this log is complete.  From my uneducated guess, seeing a timing score of (22) on the last stage of PAR may mean that you just barely didn't meet timing in 8.1; but someone more expert than I may have something better to say than that.  Regardless, linking or posting the *entire* PAR log would make it easier to tell what's going on.

 

Are you resynthesizing in 10.1.3 also before you re-PAR?

Thanks for reply. The synthesis is done in Synplify Pro 771 for both.

Joshua is right, even if that's not you question, you should investigate on you design.

The final timing score of 20 means that you didn't met your timing costraints.

You may try to create a new project in ISE10.1.03 against migrating it from the old 8.1 project.

 

You also can try different MAP or PAR options to find a work-around. Such as enable timing-driven during MAP.
