PetaLinux Interrupts not appearing

In Vivado, I placed two 16550 UART modules in the BD and connected their IRQ lines to the Zynq block.

Using Vivado 2016.2

My software counterpart has built the project and sometimes the two IRQs are registered in Petalinux and other times they do not appear.

- She is using 'cat proc interrupts' to discern if the interrupt service routines are connected to the interrupts.

Is there a way to tell in the .hdf file, or elsewhere, that I have properly generated the interrupt lines between the IP cores and Zynq?

How does software make the Petalinux image and register the interrupts?  Is there a report or log file which shows us that the interrupts have been properly mapped and connected?

Thanks for your help!

Re: PetaLinux Interrupts not appearing

Have you selected IRQ support during when doing petalinux-config -c kernel?

Device Drivers -> Userspace I/O drivers -> <*> Userspace I/O platform driver with generic IRQ handling
