ZYBO Constraint error in XDC file

Jump to solution

Hi,

I am using push buttons, slide buttons and leds to test a program on ZYBO.

I am using the master XDC file but implementation fails. The IO Standards are also right. The screen shot of implementation failed can be seen in attachment.

Hi @joniengr081.

The UCIO-1 DRC is indicating that a LOC or PACKAGE_PIN constraint is also needed. The image shows that the IOSTANDANDARD is set, but to remove the UCIO-1 error a LOC constraint is also necessary. For example.

set_property LOC A9 [get_ports rgb_2_0[0]]

or

set_property PACKAGE_PIN A9 [get_ports rgb_2_0[0]]
