implementation error, ILA IP is not support in an out-of-context module

Hi,

I got the following error in implementation.

[Chipscope 16-123] This design cannot be debugged for the following reason(s):
ILA IP is not supported in an out-of-context module.  Please create ports on the module for signals to debug and connect them to an ILA IP in the top-level of the design.
The following ILA IP instances must be removed from your design to proceed:
        - u_my_ila_0

Previously I can synthesis, P&R and everything is okay. Until one day this error shown up and I tried many methods to solve it but it's still there.

My ILA is already in my design top module. Don't know where the error comes from.

Plz help me to solve it. Thanks.

Re: implementation error, ILA IP is not support in an out-of-context module

Hi,

Which version of vivado is this? Are you trying to implement ILA core in "out of context" mode?

Try disabling "Generate synthesized checkpoint" option for ILA core and rerun the design. Right click on the ILA core in sources tab, select "generate output products" and uncheck the option "generate synthesized checkpoint". Now click

 on "Generate".

Re-run synthesis/Implementation and see if that works.

Thanks,

Deepika.

Thanks,
Deepika.
