xdc io_standard

In my xdc file is:

"set_property -dict {PACKAGE_PIN K2 IOSTANDARD LVCMOS33} [get_ports i2c_sda]"

but when I type

"get_io_standards -of_objects [get_ports [list {i2c_sda}]]",

the tcl console returns

LVCMOS18

Also, I get errors indicating that there is no "LOC" specified for this signal.

Please tell me what is wrong with this picture.

Thanks,

>>Eric

Re: xdc io_standard

Hi @eholtzclaw ,

Try using IO planning in Vivado.

1- Open an elaborated, synthesized or implemented design.

2- Select "Layout" -> "I/O Planning"

And check the constraint generated in xdc.

Thanks,

Raj

Re: xdc io_standard

Hi @eholtzclaw

Does the synthesis or implementation log indicate any problem when you search for the port name? I would expect messaging if the constraint was not applied.
